This tryptic was commissioned for decorative value and also privacy. The many textures of clear glass in a patchwork design interestingly distort the view of the bathroom, and the simple diamond motif acts as a focus.

The windows show the effectiveness of a muted colour scheme, which complements the bathroom decor. The three horizontal lines generated by the diamonds and the symmetrical design add to the peaceful feel of the doorway glass.
